Cost per lead and per customer
Estimated ranges for your market, so you know what a good result looks like before you spend.
A three-month test plan
Test in month 1, optimise in month 2, scale in month 3 — with three simple A/B tests and the KPIs to check every week.

Marketing budget questions
How much should a small business spend on marketing?
Many small businesses spend a small single-digit percentage of revenue on advertising, and more for a short period when they launch or grow fast. The right amount depends on how many customers you need and what one customer costs in your market — that is exactly what the planner calculates for you.
Is the marketing budget planner free?
Yes. It costs nothing and needs no card. You only create a free Easy Marketing School account, which also lets you watch the free lessons of our courses.
What is customer acquisition cost (CAC)?
CAC is what you spend on marketing to win one new customer: your ad spend divided by the new customers it brought. If one customer is worth more to you than your CAC, your ads pay for themselves.
Are the figures guaranteed?
No. They are estimates based on your answers and typical costs in your sector and country. The three-month test plan is there to replace estimates with your own real numbers as fast and safely as possible.
Is this a marketing budget template?
It is a filled-in plan for your business rather than a blank template. You can print it or save it as a PDF and reuse the structure every quarter.
